Drake Comments On Chris Brown

Denmark, S.C. - This morning I was listening to the radio and I heard a segment where they were discussing Drake and Chris Brown's beef between each other for their relations to R&B singer Rihanna. Drake made comments suggesting that Chris Brown is still salty about the brief relationship between Drake and Rihanna after the car incident between she and Brown.

I believe that this feud had carried on TOO long. Brown and Rihanna are obviously back together and Drake shouldn't have anything to do with their relationship. The whole going back and further thing is nothing but something for the media to grab and hold on to to make a story about and cause more controversy.

He used different techniques such as pretending to throw water on audience members and bothering audience members personal belongings to show that in an instinct someone could get the best of you but if you take a second to "Pause" and think for a second about the outcome of the situation a person can consider what would be the right reaction.

Detention Center Isn't Safe Enough

Denmark, S.C. - In a recently published story, it reads that when the Orangeburg County Detention Center was inspected on January 7, there were several problems detected. There were numerous problems with the staffing levels, furnishings and operations. Although there are problems, County Administrator Harold Young said that the county is working on the correction of some of the problems stated in the report. He is quoted saying they are making the necessary steps to improve their facility.

I think that improvement is necessary but spending a lot of money on a detention center is not sensible. That is well needed money that could be used to benefit more important efforts to improve the community. I do believe that the facility needs to be maintain to stop from inmates being injured but I think its unheard of to actually spend a lot of money on that.

Is Rick Ross Promoting Rape?

Denmark, S.C. - Rick Ross has been criticized in the media lately. Not for him with his shirt off at any awards show performance or him supposing to be attacked by some gangbangers at his shows. This time is is in the media for a lyric of his on the Rocko single, U.O.E.N.O. On this song he said a line saying, "Molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it....Took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain't even know it."

He has apologize publicly for this lyric. Ross is quoted saying, "For me to suggest in any way that harm and violation be brought to a woman is one of my biggest mistakes." Ross is also feeling the punishment for this statement with Reebok dropping him from their endorsement time. Although the rapper has made the statement of being a musician is "a great responsibility" and that his choice of words in the song "does not reflect my true heart.", he said what he said and not has to suffer the consquences of the his slip of the lip.
